Editorial Policy

Nouri publishes GLP-1 dose calculators, cost guides, and explainers. We are an educational publisher: we do not provide medical care, prescribe, dispense, or sell medication. This page sets out how the content is produced, how we choose the providers we refer readers to, and how we get paid.

What the calculators do, and what they refuse to do

Our dose calculators convert a dose that has already been prescribed — milligrams into insulin-syringe units and millilitres, for the concentration printed on your vial. They never suggest a starting dose, never propose a titration schedule, and never describe a dose as typical. That is a clinical decision, and it belongs to your prescriber.

The arithmetic runs entirely in your browser. What you type is never sent to our servers, never written to a cookie, and never attached to an advertising identifier. We keep no record that you used it, or with what numbers.

Always check the result against your pharmacy label before drawing a dose. The same dose is a different number of units at a different concentration.

How content is reviewed

Health content carries a named author and is medically reviewed by Amber Patel, MD, whose name and the date of review appear on the page. Where we state a fact about a medication — a label dose, a storage window, a side-effect rate — we cite the source, preferring the FDA-approved label, FDA guidance, and peer-reviewed research over secondary coverage.

Pages that quote prices carry the date on which we checked them. We re-check the provider comparison monthly and re-date it whether or not the figures moved.

How we choose the providers we refer to

Before we link to a provider, and again every quarter after, we confirm that it:

• prescribes through clinicians licensed in the states it serves;
• dispenses through a named, state-licensed 503A or 503B pharmacy, and will say which;
• holds LegitScript certification or an equivalent independent verification;
• runs a formal affiliate programme with written terms, paid by its marketing entity as advertising — never a per-patient fee, and never a payment tied to a prescription being written;
• publishes its prices, including what is excluded.

We do not link to sellers offering prescription medication without a prescription, to research-chemical or research-peptide vendors, to pharmacies outside the United States, or to anyone selling compounded GLP-1s outside the compounding rules. We drop a provider that receives an FDA warning letter, faces a state board action, or loses its certification.

We prefer providers that also offer FDA-approved options, so that a reader is not dependent on compounding remaining available.

What we will not claim

We do not describe any provider, pharmacy, or product as the best, the safest, or the most effective. We compare on things a reader can verify: price, whether a medication is compounded or FDA-approved, which pharmacy dispenses it, which states are served, and what a plan includes.

Compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide are not FDA-approved, have not been evaluated by the FDA for safety, effectiveness, or quality, and are not therapeutically equivalent to Wegovy, Ozempic, Zepbound, or Mounjaro. We say so wherever compounded medication is mentioned. We use brand names only to identify products, and we are not affiliated with Eli Lilly and Company or Novo Nordisk.

How we are paid

Some links earn us a commission when a reader signs up with a provider. It does not change what the reader pays, and a provider cannot buy a listing, a position, or a kinder description. The affiliate disclosure names every link that earns us money.

Corrections

If something here is wrong — a stale price, a bad number, a link that goes somewhere unexpected — tell us at care@joinnouri.com. We correct the page and update its review date. If the error was material, we say what changed.
