The loop

Why the 4pm negotiation happens.

Diagram of the GLP-1 pathway: the gut releases GLP-1, a hormone your body already makes; treatment works on that signal; appetite settles.
  • A signal, not a character flaw.

Hunger, fullness, and food preoccupation are regulated by hormones — including GLP-1, one your body already makes.

  • The 4pm negotiation is the symptom.

The dinner math. The snack-drawer standoff. Many patients describe appetite as a constant background negotiation.

  • Medicine treats the signal.

In one clinical trial of the branded medication (not Nouri’s compounded product), semaglutide reduced daily calorie intake by about 24% versus placebo.1

  • The plan does the rest.

The nutrition and movement plans are built around the medication — protecting muscle, building habits that hold. Not another diet: support designed around a treatment.

First company that made me feel young

I’m 54 years old and this is the first company that has made me feel young. From the customer service to the product, I would give it a 10/10. I was skeptical about trying it at first, but after speaking with their team I felt so comfortable ordering with them — it was an easy process through and through.

Questions

Biology, treatment, and the program: common questions

Is taking a GLP-1 “cheating”?
No. GLP-1 medications are prescription treatments that work with the hormone signals regulating appetite and fullness. Nobody calls glasses or blood-pressure medication “the easy way out” — treating appetite biology is no different.
Why would this work when diets haven’t?
Most diets ask you to out-work a hormone signal, which is why results rarely hold. GLP-1 medications mimic a natural hormone that helps regulate appetite and fullness, and Nouri builds the nutrition and movement plans around the medication rather than around willpower.
Is compounded semaglutide legitimate?
Compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide are not FDA-approved and are not reviewed by the FDA for safety, effectiveness, or manufacturing quality. They are prepared by a licensed U.S. 503A compounding pharmacy against an individual prescription from a U.S.-licensed physician, which is permitted under federal law. They are not equivalent to the FDA-approved brand-name drugs.
Will anyone know I’m on it?
No — unless you choose to tell them. The medication ships discreetly to your door, your health information is handled privately and securely, and care happens in direct messages with your Nouri Care Team.
How much does the program cost?
One bundled price covers the medication, nutrition plan, movement plan, and concierge care — no consultation fees or dose surcharges. Semaglutide starts at $120/mo and tirzepatide at $175/mo; full plan pricing is listed above. Nouri is cash-pay and not billed to insurance.
What are the side effects of compounded semaglutide?
The most common GLP-1 side effects are gastrointestinal — nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, and abdominal pain — and they usually ease as the dose is increased gradually. The Nouri Care Team manages your dose and monitoring. GLP-1s are not for everyone; people with a personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma or MEN2 should not take them.
Who qualifies?
A Nouri Care Team clinician decides — complete the online questionnaire and they review your answers and health history. Not everyone qualifies. Nouri serves adults in all 50 U.S. states.
Can I cancel, and how does the Nouri Promise refund work?
Yes — you can cancel anytime. The Nouri Promise is a 30-day satisfaction guarantee: if the program isn’t right for you, you receive a full refund on the three-month and six-month plans.
