They are not equivalent to the FDA-approved brand-name drugs Wegovy, Ozempic, Zepbound, or Mounjaro.
- What are the side effects of compounded semaglutide?
- The most common GLP-1 side effects are gastrointestinal — nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, and abdominal pain — and they usually ease as the dose is increased gradually.
