The short answer: Hers is the women's brand of Hims & Hers Health, Inc., which also runs Hims. For weight loss it sells brand-name GLP-1s (Wegovy, Zepbound, and the Wegovy and Ozempic pills) through a required membership: $39 for the first month, then $149 a month, with medication billed on top, from $149 a month at the lowest dose. Reviews: 3.3/5 on Trustpilot (10,590 reviews). An FTC lawsuit over the company's billing and privacy practices is pending; its allegations are unproven. In 2025 the FDA warned Hers that its claims about compounded semaglutide were misleading; compounded GLP-1s are not FDA-approved.

Is Hers legit?

  • Company: Hims & Hers Health, Inc., 2269 Chestnut St, San Francisco, CA. Hers and Hims share one help center.
  • Medication: Every option on Hers' weight-loss pricing on Oct 10, 2026 was a brand-name drug (Wegovy, the Wegovy and Ozempic pills, Zepbound). Its help center says it does not accept insurance.
  • FDA: Warning letter, Sep 9, 2025, to Hims & Hers Health, Inc. dba Hers: the FDA said forhers.com claims implied its compounded semaglutide was the same as Ozempic and Wegovy.
  • LegitScript: LegitScript-certified, checked Oct 10, 2026 in LegitScript's lookup for forhers.com.
  • Trustpilot: 3.3/5 from 10,590 reviews: 38% five-star, 24% one-star, across all Hers products. Hers invites customers to review.
  • BBB: One BBB profile covers Hims & Hers Inc.: not BBB-accredited, no letter grade shown, and more than 4,400 complaints in three years across both brands, mostly about cancelling orders and refunds.
  • FTC lawsuit: Pending: FTC, et al. v. Hims & Hers Health, Inc., No. 3:26-cv-07871 (N.D. Cal.), filed July 29, 2026 by the FTC, the People of the State of California and Utah's Division of Consumer Protection. According to the complaint, the company charged for prescription subscriptions without express informed consent, did not clearly disclose refill charges or offer simple cancellation, and shared health information with advertising platforms despite its privacy assurances. It seeks an injunction, monetary relief and civil penalties. The allegations have not been proven and the case is pending.

Legit in the licensing sense: a real company selling brand-name drugs. The FDA letter concerned how it marketed compounded semaglutide, and the BBB complaints and the pending FTC case's allegations both involve billing and cancellation, so read how the membership bills before you start.

In r/Semaglutide, posts we skimmed about Hers lean critical, mostly about the $39 first month turning into a membership plus medication.

Caveats: The bases are small (14 and 19), so treat the shares as directional. Many recent five-star reviews are short and early in treatment, which looks like in-app review prompts, while one-star reviews skew toward billing disputes. One reader coded the themes, and a review can carry several, so shares add up to more than 100%. These are reviewers' accounts, not verified facts.

How to cancel Hers

  1. In the Hers app or website, open Subscriptions → Manage subscription on your weight-loss plan and choose Turn off auto-renew on my medication or membership.
  2. Do it at least 48 hours before your next payment. Cancelling the membership also cancels the medication, and access runs to the end of the billing period.
  3. Cancelling only the medication leaves the $149 membership billing every month, so turn off both if you are leaving.

Per the shared Hims & Hers refund policy, Hers may not refund an order once the pharmacy has processed it. Cancellation steps are from its help center, checked Oct 10, 2026.
