The short answer: Medvi is a real telehealth company: clinicians from OpenLoop Health prescribe, and three named state-licensed pharmacies fill. Compounded semaglutide costs $149–$179 for the first month, then $299 a month. Its main page lists no tirzepatide price, but a Medvi landing page advertises compounded tirzepatide at $166/mo, “price locked” (the same page's FAQ says $199; checked Oct 18, 2026), and on Oct 11 its checkout showed $279 for the first month, then $399. Reviews split: 4.3/5 on Trustpilot (14,970 reviews) but an F from the BBB (758 complaints). In February 2026 the FDA sent Medvi a warning letter over its website claims. Compounded GLP-1s are not FDA-approved.

The first-month price differs by landing page: we saw $179 and $149 on the same day. Medvi says the monthly price covers the provider review, prescription, medication, shipping and 1:1 guidance, with no membership fee on compounded plans. Prices from Medvi's own pages, checked Oct 9, 2026. On Oct 18, 2026 its main page still listed no tirzepatide plan, while its tirzepatide landing page showed “$166/mo — Price Locked” for tirzepatide and $116/mo for semaglutide, and that page's FAQ gave $166 for semaglutide and $199 for tirzepatide. Is Medvi legit?

Legit in the licensing sense: real clinicians, named pharmacies, a traceable company. The F rating reflects unanswered complaints and the FDA letter concerned marketing claims, not drug quality. Both are reasons to read the cancellation terms before you pay.

Caveats: On one page we spot-checked, 12 of 14 five-star reviews carried Trustpilot's “Invited” label and every 1–2★ review was unprompted. Most five-star reviews rate a single consultation, not shipping, price or results, and the profile also covers programs other than weight loss. One reader coded the themes, and a review can carry several, so shares add up to more than 100%. These are reviewers' accounts, not verified facts.
